When you attend events, you are exposed to ideas and energy that you just cannot capture when you are sitting at home working away in your office – alone.
Being in an environment where there are like minded people is exhilerating. You NEVER know who you will meet. When I see the name tags of some of the guests, I am stunned that they have taken time away from their hugely successful businesses, to be in the crowd. And I know why……… they know and understand the power of crowds.
These experts in their own fields are there to meet others with knowledge that they can combine for an even more powerful presentaton to educate more people in the future. They know that they will meet even more people to work with and share knowledge. It is enticing. Seductive, even!
You REALLY need to come to the next live event that you can!
Who will YOU meet there????
Until next time -
Mary

The interview with Eric Graham ROCKS!
Working with an incredibly interesting variety of high end clients, combined with Eric’s intuitive mind and keen sense of curiosity in trends, Eric Graham has a sense of things to happen that will benefit every one who has the good fortune to benefit from his counsel.
One of Eric’s forte’s in business, is his insight into testing and drilling down to each and every part of a client’s sales message, to see what works, and keep tweaking until he narrows down exactly the right components that will increase Visitors to a Business, into Buyers in a business.
What Eric has done for me in the past, and continues to do on an ongoing basis, is to test the photos and poses that I provide for my clients and for his clients. He painstakingly tests one pose against another, with and without poses, pointing, or doing other “actions’ on a website.
You will be able to benefit from that information as well, as you receive each month’s new material. And that’s great – however, that is only the tip of the iceberg so so spaek – of what Eric delviers to you in incredibly valuable information and advice.
Eric goes into detail regarding the concept of becoming a Photography Consultant to your clients and prospective clients. When Eric talks …..Clients Listen. Usually because they are paying him about $30,000 for his advice! So (more…)

**This excerpt is from Eric Graham, the Conversion Doctor **
But my testing and deep level analysis of online visitor behavior has shown…
While only a small percentage of your visitors will read your privacy policy, the ones that DO read it are very, very serious about making a purchase.
In fact, a recent study I conducted based on the Google Analytics data from over two dozen websites shows that while only 11% of visitors clicked on privacy policy links, of those who did, 17.4% went on to make a purchase.
Compare this to the fact that the average overall, conversion rate for the websites in this study was 2.9%, and you can see how visitors who click on your privacy policy are FAR more qualified and closer to making a buying decision than those who do not.
Most online marketers and business owners know that to avoid getting into legal trouble they need to post a privacy policy on their website.
But what many are apparently unaware of is, a well crafted privacy policy can contribute to (more…)

In my experience, and yours too I am sure – I have discovered
that taking photos for websites has more of a purpose than only
making a site more personalized.
There can be as many varied reason for these specific photos – lots and lots
of photos - as there are subjects to photograph.
I personally work a majority of my time with Online (Internet)
marketers, who have tested and proven the conversion (more…)

One of the things that separates great photographs from a friend or a neighbor with a digital camera trying to accommodate a friend ‘on the cheap’. We, as professional photographers, know how to move the body so that it falls easily into the poses. Our skill, our eye for the pose, our knowledge of how to properly use posing to increase exposure for marketing purposes. THIS is what sets us far above the amateur shooter who wants to “feel like” a photographer.
Our ability, as professional photographers out there perfecting our skills every day is what makes us valuable to our prospective clients. We need to continue to grow, to be inventive in our photography and how we compose images. Staying on top of current trends and new opportunities opens doors that we would otherwise not know existed.
Learning what conversion rates are, why they are important – and relaying that to our clients in relation to using our photography on their websites, and in their marketing efforts, is what will set us apart – where there will BE no competition!
When you have finished each course in this series, ‘ The New Business of Photography’ you will be prepared with the skills you need to expand your business locally. Becoming the local expert – the only Photography Consultant who teaches their customers more than how to pose. You will be teaching them how to Make More Money, as you add significantly to your own bottom line as well.
